Two features in one: a Scenic preservation branch line, and also a high speed track with dummy overhead wires totalling nearly half a scale mile when all sections are deployed (nb. layout length variable to suit location).
End-to End preservation branch. Pass-through high speed line simulated using specially designed high speed fiddle sidings capable of launching and receiving scale length trains through the scene at full scale speeds of 100+mph.
The preservation branch has; a seaside terminus (Brandiston), a junction station where network trains to enter the line (Stilton Junction), a separate interchange with the HS line (Gunfleet International), a terminus at the quarry visitor's centre.
Scenic features include the beach, a seaside terminus, golf course, lavender farm, camping and caravanning, prototypical M&GNJR bridge, quarry transfer sidings, plus an estuarial salt marsh with substantial viaduct crossing.
Branch line rolling stock includes a selection of typical preservation items, along with modern long distance DMU stock arriving from the network. High speed line stock will include HST, Eurostar and the occasional TGV. Javelin and Pendolino will be added when available. Only Eurostar, Javelin and TGV will stop at Gunfleet.
