This layout was designed with the following criteria:
1 - All parts available over the shop counter.
2 - Must fit on the front passenger seat in my car.
3 - To be set up and operating almost instantaneously.
4 - Be able to 'drop' into my grandsons 00 new layout.
Originally planned as a garden railway in N gauge but would not satisfy the second criteria so it was changed to Z gauge for the garden railway track, the remainder of the model uses 00 scale buildings and scenery.
